I totally agree. Assuming it isn’t made of bondo and RTV’d in license plates. And it certainly appears that some one has put more time and care into t than that.

I meant the ‘67 Grand Prix convertible in front of the wagonboi. Looks like maybe another ‘67 GP in the garage, too.

wrap around side windows are one of my favorite design elements. See laso the Bronco II and Land Rover Dicovery. I’m sure there are other SUVs and wagons that have used it, these are just the two I think of.

Oh weird! I didn’t know they’d changed from 4WD to AWD mid-series, but apparently so. 1986 (like mine) had push-button 4WD and 1987 had automatic AWD driven by a viscous coupling.

Ha, I saw a Bronco II here in Michigan over the weekend and was explaining to my girlfriend that it’s semi-remarkable as most of them seem to have rusted away.

I really like Discoveries, would love to have one someday!

Hmm yeah fair enough.  Still what I would call AWD but neither are terms of art.  I should say none of this detracts from it being a cool car, far from it in fact.  I kinda wish mine was the “Real Time 4WD” over the pushbutton style, but alas.
